Questions

Here you will find questions that we frequently get from our customers regarding our plumbing and HVAC products and services.
How long should my hot water heater and A/C unit last?
A new A/C unit typically lasts between 15-20 years. A water heater lasts between 10-15 years.

How often should my A/C unit be checked?
A residential heating and air conditioning system should be checked twice a year. Our Planned Service Agreement includes (2) visits per year and a discount on service calls.

A commercial system should be checked more often. A site visit can be made by our Maintenance Sales representative to determine the frequency of visits.

Are there any rebates available for new unit installations?
There is a $1,500.00 federal tax rebate for qualifying air conditioning and heating equipment. Our residential comfort specialist can inform you of other options for energy reduction and equipment manufacture rebates.
What are the benefits of a tankless water heater?
The biggest benefit of a tankless water heater is that it will not run out of water. The second benefit is that it saves energy. Rather than heating water in a tank that is not being used, a tankless water heater only heats water when you need it.
I have hot and cold spots in my house/office. Can this be fixed?
Yes. Airflow can be adjusted to properly heat and cool each room of your home or office to keep you comfortable all year round.
